The Regulatory Writing Lab Opens July 20th
1,000+ of you showed up. This is my thank you.
Hi Future Regulatory Writer,
I have an announcement.
On July 20th, I am launching something I have been building for months. Something I wish had existed when I was finding my footing in this industry. Something designed specifically for people making the same transition I did.
It is called The Regulatory Writing Lab.
Before I tell you what it is, I want to say something first.
A few weeks ago, this newsletter crossed 1,000 subscribers. That number means more to me than I expected. You showed up every Monday, opened these emails, and trusted me with your time. I do not take that lightly. So, in a real way, this launch is my thank-you.
Here is the honest version of how I got here.
I did not build this career entirely alone. Early on, someone pointed me in the right direction. She helped me understand what regulatory writing was and why my background made me a viable candidate for it. Over almost eleven years, we have spoken maybe fifteen times. She gave me a direction. What she could not give me was a place to practice.
That part I had to figure out on my own.
I spent years learning by doing. Reading documents. Making mistakes on real projects. Slowly developing an eye for what strong regulatory writing looks like and what weak regulatory writing costs during a submission. There was no structured way to build that skill. No exercise. No feedback loop. No place to sit down and deliberately practice the craft before your work had real consequences.
That gap never stopped bothering me.
Over the past decade, I have achieved goals and had great successes. Nine months after my first solo contract, I paid off $96,632 in student loans. I have worked on submissions that directly impacted patients living with serious diseases. And through all of it, I kept thinking about the version of me who was starting, trying to learn a craft with no real way to practice it.
The Regulatory Writing Lab is what I would have wanted then.
Over the next three weeks, I am going to walk you through exactly what it is, who it is built for, and what you will get every single week as a member. By July 20th, you will have everything you need to decide if it is right for you.
For now, mark your calendar.
Talk soon,
Keagen
